After the toll booth, follow the main traffic flow straight (Via Marco Polo) to the first traffic light so as to cross the river. At the traffic light, turn left and continue along the Lungarno with the river on the left, following the signs for “center” for about 3 kilometers (Lungarno Generale dalla Chiesa – Lungarno Aldo Moro – Lungarno del Tempio). The road turns right into Viale Giovanni Amendola. At the first traffic light, turn left into Viale Duca d’Abruzzi and continue right to enter via dell’Agnolo.
Passing the electronic gate, continue for about 500 m, turn right into via Verdi and then turn into the second street on the left called via dell’Oriuolo.
Follow the road until you reach Piazza Duomo, turn left into Via del Proconsolo and turn right at first street Via Del Corso . Palazzo Portinari Salviati is located 50 meters on your right.
Coming from Florence airport Amerigo Vespucci
From the Airport, at the roundabout go straight towards Viale degli Astronauti, then take the exit on Viale Alessandro Guidoni. After 2 km, turn right at the traffic light on Viale Enrico Forlanini.
At the roundabout, take the second exit leading to Viale Redi. Follow the road for about 2 km then, while keeping the left, enter Via Piazza della Porta al Prato. Continue straight on Viale Fratelli Rosselli until Piazza della Libertà. Continue on Viale Giacomo Matteotti and, passing through Piazzale Donatello, keep going on Viale Antonio Gramsci. In Piazza Cesare Beccaria enter Viale della Giovine Italia and turn on the second street on the right Via dell’Agnolo.
